Hi, I’m Tyne!

Originally from Waco, TX, Tyne’s first introduction to musical theatre was watching old Hollywood movie musicals with her mom. Traditional Broadway tunes were the soundtrack to her childhood, but stories were the heartbeat.

Tyne’s largest and oldest passion is storytelling, particularly for the purpose of curating a sense of belonging. As a child, Tyne’s favorite stories were romantic, fantastical fairytales. As she has grown, she has come to love complex themes and vulnerable stories. In all stories, she loves the element of play. Tyne also loves to play with her voice, whether with a jazz scat or a pop/rock riff. A quirky soprano with a sharp wit and sweet countenance, Tyne thrives as a collaborative storyteller.

When she is not on stage or in rehearsal, Tyne loves tour guiding, baking for friends, traveling to interesting places, playing with her family’s Boston Terrier, and journaling at cozy coffee shops.
